Tim Arroyo

Tim Arroyo is an award-winning lens-based creative, digital artist, professional retoucher, digital print master, and Assistant Professor in the Photography program at the College of DuPage in Glen Ellyn, IL. He began his creative career as a graphic designer while attending Columbia College Chicago studying graphic arts and photography. After spending a number of years as a Senior Designer and professional photographer he made the decision to share his knowledge of design, commercial printing, and photography; and began a long-standing career as an instructor for graphic designers, interior designers and photographers.
Tim resides in the Pilsen neighborhood of Chicago. He is a longstanding member of PPA; has exhibited his photographic digital art nationally and internationally. Tim has served as a member of the Adobe Photoshop Advisory Council where his primary focus was on mobile compositing in Photoshop for iPad and Photoshop web to help shape the products. He continues working with Adobe in the same capacity of shaping their products and has represented them at various conferences for both Lightroom and Photoshop, and is currently writing a book Photoshop Mastery: Advanced Theories for Photographers.
