As a long time magazine and corporate photographer I am expected to go on assignment with very little or no planning time.  I am still expected to produce a great story telling image with great lighting.

I’ve  had the honor to work with many amazing and interesting people. 

I have photographed every US President from Jimmy Carter to Donald Trump.  I photographed Putin with President Bush and other world leaders.  Also photographed many celebrities, including Rhianna, Anthony Hopkins, Tony Bennett, Cynthia Erivo, Keith Richards, Mark Zuckerberg, Bill Gates and many other business leaders, models, academics, scientists, assorted outlaws and a few spies.    

Over the years as a photojournalist my lighting styles may have evolved, but the story telling has always remained constant. 

I will share some of these images and tell you the back stories that went into covering the story and creating the images.  I’ll also talk about what equipment was used to create the photographs and how you interact with your subject in your few minutes with them.
