As we all know, wedding days move fast, and sometimes you only have a few minutes and one light to make something great. 

In this two-hour class, we’re taking over an amazing rooftop bar to see just how much we can create with one location, one light, and one couple.
 
We’ll start by finding the shots that are already hiding in the space. We’ll use good ambient light, add flash when we need it, change lenses and angles, and see how small choices can completely change the feel of a photograph. We’ll go from clean and natural to bold and dramatic…all with one light.
 
And because great lighting can’t save awkward posing, we’re going to work on that too! We’ll photograph our couple individually and together, work through movement and connection, and find ways to create variety quickly without cycling through a hundred memorized poses.
 
I’ll talk through what I’m seeing, why I’m choosing a particular lens or setting, where I’m putting the light, and when I decide something just isn’t working and move on. This class is about the kind of practical knowledge you’ll be able to put into practice right away. 
 
You’ll shoot along the way too, so bring your camera and leave with some great images of your own.
 
The goal is simple: walk into a space, see the possibilities, and make the most of the time and gear you actually have!
